More than 50 banners were submitted in just two weeks to the RVA Downtown Banner Design Competition. The RVA Creates panel chose ten designs to produce and awarded First and Second (cash) Prizes to two designers. The public decided which of the remaining eight would get the final cash prize—a People’s Choice Award. And, as a thank you, Venture Richmond has offered a season pass to Friday Cheers to everyone who entered the competition!
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all of the participants. Look for the banners on downtown street poles in June. The prizes were announced, and all of the winners were recognized, at the Richmond Advertising Club award show on Friday night—The Richmond Show. Here are the winning banners:
